Fusion Centers

Let's build your Vision with our Solution

The integration of audio and video in the Fusion Center is an important aspect to ensure operators have access to the information they need to analyze events effectively and make informed decisions.

This integration of audio and video in the Fusion Center requires careful planning and implementation to ensure that the technology is reliable, secure, and easy to use. We are specialists in this field and can help design and implement the right solutions for your organization's specific needs.

Our Solution Specialists and Design team are ready to meet with you to help upgrade, manage, or select the right technology for your new Fusion Center. We have a well-documented process that covers all the aspects and fine details to help maximize the potential while also capturing your needs.

Fusion Center:

  • Visualization:
    • Leadership needs to visualize how the space will look before the space is built out. Our design team meets with your team to develop your space and will then create a 3d virtual rendering. We will build your space in Virtual reality and provide decision-makers and leadership the ability to visualize the space well before construction starts. Visual representations of the space before construction will assist stakeholders to make crucial decisions that have impacts on visuals, operations, and budget.
  • Video Processing:
    • The system captures and processes video sources required to allow the display of this content in any size, and/or grouping of content. Operators need the ability to press a single button to call up the sources and grouping of content within a split second. Our designs provide the ability to capture and send signals in the necessary format and resolution to the video wall(s) and surrounding displays.
  • Content Sources:
    • We review your existing systems to ensure we are providing the ability for the content to display on the video wall, surrounding displays, and outside facilities. We capture all the important information from a variety of data sources, including Law Enforcement Databases, social media, Open-Source Intelligence, Government Agencies, Private Sector Partners, and Emergency Management Systems. These video sources can be displayed on the video wall and surrounding displays with a simple click of one button; from a customized touch screen, we program based on your requirements and provide you and your operators the ability to easily control the content sources needed to be seen at any given time. Our solutions are both robust and flexible and provide your organization with the ability for future growth, all built into the original design we create.
  • Lighting:
    • Many operators will, from time-to-time, find themselves in the physical space 24/7. Selecting the proper lighting for your space is very important. Our systems can integrate with the lighting so operators have the ability to use the provided control system to control the lighting. Lighting may also have a negative impact on the video displays throughout the space, which makes it extremely important to account for lighting in the initial design of your facility.
  • Acoustics:
    • It is extremely difficult to understand how noise will travel in the space before being built. Since most Command-and-control rooms need to be relatively quiet, it becomes crucial to understand the acoustics of the space and the materials being used to construct the walls, ceiling, and flooring. Matching the appropriate acoustical treatment, whether by material selection, electronic sound masking system, or a combination of both, enables our design team to take these factors into account and plan out the space that includes a well-designed acoustical solution for your facility.
  • Displays:
    • Video Walls display the content for mission-critical decision-making. Fusion Center video walls are often used to display live camera feeds and data sources from various locations that allow operators and managers to monitor activities in real time. Audio from these locations can also be integrated into the Fusion Center. AV-Worx® designs the video wall to fit the physical space perfectly. We account for all the prerequisites in our design so that you receive a set of construction drawings used to construct the video wall and surrounding technologies within the facility. Our solution incorporates the necessary technology to collaborate and communicate effectively between the various agencies that support your Fusion Center. Flexibility and future provisioning are all part of our initial design.
  • Audio:
    • Some of these content sources contain audio, and you may require the ability to route this throughout your workspaces. Our system will incorporate a design that handles routing the audio sources, which can also include both Audio and Video conferencing. All sources will be routable to any of the physical locations within and outside of your space. Based on the size of your project, you may also need audio to be distributed to several locations and facilities. Our solution considers all your spaces and agency requirements to ensure audio is well-planned and incorporated into the system design.
  • LED Accent Lighting:
    • LED Accent lighting will add a feature to the space that brings an immediate “WOW” factor. It is possible can also be controlled from the same system we provide for the entire space and integrated to your environment. In most cases, the LED color can provide an easily identified visual reference informing everyone within the space of the current status of the Fusion Center.
  • Control:
    • All systems (displays, audio, video, sources, conferencing, lighting, climate, etc.) within your space need control. Rather than using dozens of remote controls, our team will design, integrate, and program the systems so you have one control system. The control system will operate using touchscreens to incorporate the entire ecosystem for displays, video processing, audio, lighting and can include climate control.
  • Warranty and Maintenance:
    • Our team will include a comprehensive warranty plan which will encompass 5-year hardware & Software coverage. Our service team will provide you with onsite maintenance all rolled into one package so that you will be able to have the necessary confidence that your system will always operate 24/7, or a case-by-case basis. We have a service team that includes telephone, text, remote support, and onsite emergency response.
